Milk is fed under pump pressure to the rotary bowl through a hollow rotating screw from the bottom and gradually accelerated to the same rotation speed as the bowl itself. Due to the unique hermetic design, the complete separator, from inlet to outlet, remains completely filled with milk under pressure. Separation is performed under hermetic conditions inside the vessel where no exterior air mixes, and the cream (light phase) and skim milk (heavy phase) are discharged under pressure through two outlets in the crown of the upper frame of the Separator.
